Unlike legacy markets that relied on centralized bitcoin wallets and simple username/password combinations, Drughub enforces cryptographic standards at every interaction point.
The platform serves as a neutral, automated escrow service connecting buyers and vendors. We do not handle goods; we handle data and settlement. Our primary directive is to maintain a sterile, efficient environment for peer-to-peer exchange using Monero (XMR) to ensure financial privacy for all participants.
02. System Architecture
Authentication Protocol
Drughub utilizes a strict PGP-only login mechanism. No passwords are stored on the backend database. Access requires the decryption of a unique 2FA string using the user's private key. This renders database leaks computationally useless to attackers.
Settlement Layer
All transactions are settled in Monero (XMR). The platform generates unique sub-addresses for every order. Coupled with RingCT and stealth addresses, this severs the on-chain link between sender and receiver, ensuring complete financial opacity.
Network Resilience
The platform employs a rotational mirror system. Rather than a single point of failure, Drughub distributes traffic across multiple hidden service descriptors. If one node experiences high latency, the load balancer redirects to healthy mirrors automatically.
Escrow Logic
Standard orders use a 14-day auto-finalize timer held in a 2-of-3 multisig environment (Buyer/Vendor/Platform). Finalize Early (FE) privileges are restricted algorithmically to vendors with established trust scores (>98% positive feedback over 100+ orders).
